A well-designed entrance tells you immediately where the entry to the building is and it invites you to step inside or at least slowdown and admire the building, be that as a pedestrian or a driver.
A building's entrance is the threshold between the exterior and interior, it contributes to the overall identity of the development and plays an important role in the impression and experience formed by visitors.
It is believed that every piece of land or a building has a soul of its own and that soul is known as “Vastu Purusha” (god for construction of structures and buildings).
With Vastu Shastra (the science of architecture), the main concern is the direction of the front door. The main door can face north, northeast, east, or west. Northwest is a fine choice with a brass helix, and southwest can be corrected with a lead helix. Typically, one avoids buying a house facing south because it can lead to bad luck.
