Aloe Vera is known for its fleshy green leaves which are thick and pointed with spiny ridges on its sides. The slimy tissue that stores the water is what people associate with Aloe Vera products, The gel contains most of the beneficial bioactive compounds in the plant, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants. Aloe is used for curing burns, various skin conditions, digestive system health & also helps to relieve anal fissures. It has been used for medicinal purposes in several cultures for millennia Egypt, Greece, India, Mexico, Japan, and China. In the time of the pharaohs, the Egyptians idealized Aloe Vera and called it “the plant of immortality”. It can be found written on papyrus describing the anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. It was named by the pharaoh as the “elixir of eternal life”. Aloe Vera appears in Chinese and Sumerian writings around 3000 B.C. Egyptian queens Nefertiti and Cleopatra used it as part of their regular beauty regimes. Alexander the Great, and Christopher Columbus used it to treat soldiers' wounds. As of today, Thailand accounts for about thirty percent of global production.
